There’s nothing quite like the first rays of morning as they kiss changing leaves of fall. I struggled to get to this point - I wanted nothing more than to head home on Friday night after a long first week back to teaching. Tears were shed as I drove three hours to my campsite, parked my car, ate a PB&J, and wrapped myself in several blankets before drifting off to a chilly sleep.

I woke up at 4AM to snag a parking spot at the trail head and started hiking; I sat on the summit of Mt. Jo wrapped in blankets to fight off the 24 degree morning. It was all worth it for this stunning view of the MacIntyre Range to start my hiking day! 

During the first week of Covid-19 Quarantine, my good friend @EricSorenson and I couldn’t resist seeing what our city looked like with everything shut down. We set out on our bicycles and explored our new Ghost Town. We biked up and down major avenues as if we owned them. Avenues that would be impossible to bike down on a normal day. It was a unique and eerier feeling to see our city become so desolate.

I’m a happy happy boy!

It was a fun little day trip together to Bearizona in Williams, AZ to get out of the heat of Phoenix AZ.

   My friend Alex and I climbed to the Castle Rock summit at Blue Mountain Lake in the Adirondacks, Upstate NY. I captured the moment he viewed the beautiful Fall Foliage surrounding the valley. It was definitely worth the hike! 

Time flies while you’re busy turning moments into memories. You don’t notice how beautiful a moment was until all you have left is a photo of the memory. 

As we were getting ready to leave the picnic the sun's rays came out from the clouds in the distance and I wanted to capture a few more candids. This is how I got this shot. The colour scheme could not have been more perfect!

I’m from Banff Alberta, and I took my mom to Bankhead for the first time on my last day with her before I went back to school. There are coal carts there and I climbed inside one not realizing my mom took a photo.

The photo of me was taken somewhere in a field in Transylvania by my friend Irina, using my film camera, an Olympus AF10 and a Kodak Ultramax 400 film.

Fall is almost here and I can hardly wait. By far the best season and the photos never disappoint.

Bear is dressed as a bat for spooky season this year. 

Perfect pictures don’t exist but perfect moments do. I’ve never felt more complete and I’m starting to realize this warm feeling from these special moments we get to spend together are way more worth a perfect photo. And truthfully this is my perfect photo. There’s more to love than likes.

I think it might be better I stick to jack-o-lanterns. Bucky thinks so too! He sure enjoyed some of the pumpkin scraps while we carved it, too!

Today was “Dress up like a Doctor” day at their preschool.
I knew everyone would dress their children in the traditional doctor scrubs etc.
So I decided to dress them up as Veterinarian Doctors.

Aren’t they just the cutest?

Halloween last year, Boulder and Harley as ET and Elliott dress up. 

Dressing up for Halloween is our favorite & what better costume than a bunch of princesses?!
