This shot is special to me because I when I took it I was still learning the basics of photography, well, I'm still learning! So I guess you could say, it's one of my first photographic successes. I was trying to learn more about long exposures when I took this shot, which as you can see, is what I used here to create the light trails coming out of the boots. The shot was taken in my kitchen with no other lighting than the green you see, and a fill flash at the end of the shot. This picture was taken in August 2005, at Assateague State Park in Virginia Maryland. Wild horses roam here on the beach and through the dunes. On this particular day we were surf fishing and these two horses walked a few feet away from us -- managing to clear the lines from our fishing poles while taking their walk near the shore.
